I will say first that I'm not a expert on this topic but from being within the daz community (constantly reading through the forum over there) I would have to say probably not. I'm not sure how iclone's files work but I'm guessing that everything along with the geometry is embedded in the iclone files which means that unless you created the geometry of the model and own the rights to it you would be distributing the geometry that falls under the Daz3d EULA which states you can redistribute the model for others to use it only the rendered video or images even if the daz characters are free. Now if you have characters you downloaded on those free sites you they should include a readme that has all the information about what you can and can not do. Again this is coming from not an expert since I'm not a content creator but rather a scene artist. Ya, that's what i found too - they own the mesh, but not the output of the tools, and the best part of daz is not the genesis mesh or their base meshes, but the tools to morph meshes. So if I can figure out a way to get, for example, 'make human' rigs to interact with their morphing tools. They make no mention of not distributing their skeletons, Just the mesh, and you can adapt other meshes to their skeleton. I'm trying to assess how hard it is to adapt now. Seems like I wasn't the first to think of it! It's easy - intermediate! - right up my alley! ![]() Lol basically you import the new figure like a piece of clothing, the idea is to have the mesh proportions relative to daz so the bones are aligned. Once you do that you transfer all the maps and specs on to the new model to react to the bones, then delete the Daz Genesis Character mesh, and save as a new character. Then, in theory, you can call up this character and use it like Genesis, instead of Genesis Geometry. So you can model your own custom Makehuman model which is not a derivative work from genesis, and matching proportions is not a derivative work - you can't copyright the standard human body size nor a T Pose. (else facebook or microsoft / apple would have done it already lol ) which is brilliant because now you can import any clothing you want and build your own library with tools like MarvelousDesigner - or anywhere else on the net you can get a shirt and pants at - just need to proportion them to your make human model. Here's a tut on using the transfer utility to do this. Donna summer songs. These re-issues are packaged as case-bound books, and come complete with lyrics, new notes from Christian John Wikane and Justin ‘Musicology’ Kantor. These are available to purchase from Amazon (and other retailers) but fans are incentivised to buy from the (Europe & Australasia only) by the inclusion of a free two-track twelve-inch vinyl single (CD single for the CD box) which includes the tracks State Of Independence (DJ Dero Vocal Mix) and Love’s About To Change My Heart (Loveland’s Full-On 12″” Vocal). Both vinyl and CDs can be bought together in collector’s box sets. These will all be issued as 180g LPs including a first vinyl release for I’m A Rainbow which will actually be a double LP gatefold. Track listings haven’t been released, but it’s looking like many will be expanded one CD editions with the odd exception like I’m A Rainbow (two-disc) and Another Place And Time (three discs). Subject: Daz genesis 8 male characters. Roland58 opened this issue on Oct 17, 2017 23 posts. Allowing two months and a single Daz 0 character (Michael 8) to be released seems to be jumping. I typed a lengthy answer and my wifi dropped out now it is gone, breifly no sorry PSD you need to use content creation tools, I will post more later about it all with links when I am on my pc, prob tomorrow it is something I and others have looked into too. Briefly you cannot use the transfer tool as you would using Genesis triax weightpainting technology owned by Daz, not just a bone skeleton. Yes you can create products such as clothes which require Genesis but not stand alone. You can with content creation tools rig as skeketon to the same proportions as Genesis to attach to a mesh but you must weightpaint and morph it yourself. Anything goes for 2D rendering, but for redistibution the rules are strict. ![]() What you must realise is transfering morphs from one mesh to another is a form if shrinkwrapping that is expressly forbidden under the Daz EULA for their mesh. I am not trying to be a killjoy here, just saving you the trouble of getting yourself too far into creating something that cannot be redistributed. Also the creator of the morphs has to have given express permission for redistribution. You can if you own Hexagon, easily send any mesh, one you created yourself or maybe makehuman, into Hexagon, soft select and move vertices then send it back to studio as a morph target. Otherwise export obj to your modeller of choice and do not change vertex count and reimport using morph loader. You can use content creation tools to rig/bone/skin (Sw00000p claims the terms not interchangeable) in plain English attach a skeleton to and weightpaint that figure. (I work in Carrara for my boning/skinning so cannot tell you much about it, Vidi knows more and Bobbie999 has some excellent pdf books for sale at a reasonable price on the topic) that is how you do a figure that is fully redistributable.
